If you could travel back in time and play a golf course what year would you choose? How about the first one ever cut out of fields and gorse?

Take away the sea add an English accent and this course pretty much replicates what playing conditions must have been like.

There are no bunkers and the fairways are simply farmland grass cut once then twice, and thats it. No landscaping or planting of seed. No bunkers and the "Greens" are just grass cut shorter with a hole in the middle. Thats it.

This whole course has a different approach to golf with no dress code, no tee off time, no facilities and cheap £9.00 to play all day.

It is incredibly challaging and requires a new level of skill but well worth playing just for the experience. They should play an open here and I'm not joking either as I'd love to see what the big boys would make of this.
