A good course which you have to think your way around. You really need to visit more than once (this time scored 38 points off 12 :->) to challenge your handicap.
After the first two holes I did not user the driver again until the 9th. The course was in good condition on a day where there was little wind, following nearly a months worth of rain the day before, the course drained well. The greens were a good pace with a few sneeky pin postions, with fairways equally as good. Not sure about some of the stroke indexes - how does the 18th only merit an SI of 6.
The clubhouse and pro shop were friendly and when we arrived early let our 2 ball start before a 4 ball.
We paid £30 each (down from adverstised £35) which is quite steep compared with places like Dale Hill and Hever (both on 2-4-1's) which will probably stop me being a regular visitor.
btw don't use Tomtom POI to get you there, it leads you to a dead end.

An exceptionally good course. The opening hole is reasonably straighforward, but after that things get tough. You can expect to shoot at least 6 over your usual score. The greens are exceptionally good - very contoured and true. Fairways and extensive bunkers are immaculate. The course is an inland links with parkland elements. Wind is often a factor. The 10th is a particularly good hole - a par 5 that should be played as a 5 even by long hitters. This course will expose a deficiencies in your game, but it is a fair and enjoyable test. 10 out of 10. I predict big things for this course in the future.
