i play on this course all the time and its not that bad.for 5 pounds for nine holes you cant really go wrong.the fairways are in good condition but the greens arent up to much.they are slow and there are holes in some of them.there could be more bunkers around the greens.

What a shame !! I started playing at Barlborough a couple of years ago when I first took up the game. It was nine holer which was a great introduction to the game, with some good holes.
I returned recently and found that the condition of the course has degenerated considerably, which is a big disapointment. The greens were very poor and patchy and the fairways not in good condition.
I have every sympathy with the members of Barlborough, because with a little investment, this would be a smashing nine hole course
