Well i played this course several times last summer and i found you can get a nice cheap twighlight round in during the week for as little as £8 (although your not guarenteed to get 18 holes in) which is great if like me your fairly new to the sport. Having 3 sets of 9 holes means you can turn up without a booking and normally tee off straight away however to t off from the A course you need to book and in my opinion its the best nine holes compared to B which i find very dificult even finding where the next hole is. £27 on a weekend round seems too high to me when there are better courses around locally for £20 or less. driving range is great and a little par 3 course (9 holes) is very helpful to your short game

I played here at the end of September for the first time in ages (about 5 years). The course has added another 9 holes since I last played. I played A and C, which includes most of the original 18. The course has started to mature now and will continue to grow in character. Overall the course is not long, although there is a monster par 4 on the C course, especially now the tress have started to grow and you can't cut the corner. The fairways were in good condition, the greens were ok, but it was disappointing that there already some temporary tees in play. Practice and off course facilities are generally good, although the locker room / shower was dire. On balance this is a reasonable course, which should get better.

Played on the Ryder Cup Sunday, first B then the C. The course was reasonably quiet until the second half when I was stuck behind a very slow 4 ball. The round overall took 4 hours 20 minutes.
The course generally is very open with generous fairways. I found the B half frustrating with several tee shots where it was unclear where the fairway went. The C half I am more familiar with so had no trouble (apart from my skill level).
The course condition was good with consistant greens but there were a couple of artificial tees. One complaint - some of the sand in the bunkers was very heavy consistancy. It hadn't rained for a day or two so I think it should be better.
£25 for a weekend round seems a bit over the top for me.
Clubhouse is fair with reasonable food and drink. There is also a driving range, a putting green and a 9 hole par 3 course. PArking generally good.

Just played this course for the first time and I'm afraid was not very impressed. There are three nines, a b and c. The first nine(a) was ok but the second (c) was very bland indeed, nothing of interest and mostly just up and down. Of the 18 holes played six of them were par threes which is too many as far as I'm concerned, most of which were very straight forward and unrewarding. Cost was £25 (Sunday).

Saturday 17th July 2004. Played 2 ball tee'd off at 08:07 £24.00 each plus £3.00 for trolley. 1st time played on this course. Club has three 9 holes circuits A,B and C. Played A then B. Tees, fairways and greens in excellent condition. Interesting course - pretty flat but with many water hazards and some interesting greens. Lots of wildlife too! Expensive for a public course, but worth it. The only criticism is the lack of a course map which, as this was the first time of playing, made it difficult on long holes when you couldn't see the green. Overall, a very good public course which I shall definately play again.
