Really impressed by this course. Everything presented in excellent condition, from clubhouse to greens. Friendly marshalling ensured a reasonably fast round, despite it being a busy Saturday morning. Course itself is varied and challenging but fair - open parkland allowing you to be a little wayward with drives but often requiring precise approaches to well guarded greens. The greens themselves were in lovely condition, fast and difficult to read, with lots of slopes and borrows. I had my first four putt in ages and there were quite a few three putts among our group. Overall for a pay and play course this was outstanding.

After been at many courses i just know when i've played in a good quality course, coupled with my 19 years of experience in this game i must say playing at Wycombe Heights was an absolute pleasure. I have never seen the greens of a public course in such fine condition, bearing in mind that it in autumn.

The fairways were exotic i just couldn't get enough of fantastic standard of the entire course and then the food that was prepared for was went well after my wonderful round, the service was of top class ,especially the young african man behind the bar.

Everybody looked after us we were glad to be there.

Having played here on a cold Novemebr day you can see how good this course must be in better weather.

Every hole is different and presented in fantastic condition, the greens have improved so much it is hard to believe this is the same course it was a few years ago.Granted some bunkers need more sand but this is in hand.

Right from the first difficult hole the course keeps you up to your game, the variety keeps you interested for the hole 18 holes,so many good holes it is difficult to pick one that stands out.

The clubhouse has been renovated to give an airy clean feel to it and the food is served pleasantly by enthusiastic staff, the pro shop was also very helpfull.

I noticed that next to the driving range they have made a short game practice area which is also a real bonus.

Our group only paid 22.00 on a winter deal which included coffee, bacon roll,18 holes and a sinlge course lunch.Truly amazing which is more than can be said for my poor golf

Now although a member here I have to say that in the last year the course has seen massive improvements, I also aim to give an objective review before being accused of being bias. The club has invested an awful lot of money in green side watering and half the course bunkers have been re-done. The 1st hole is one of the most challeging you will find, and the course is not a beginners course by a long way. It is usually windy, and so makes this a very challenging track, YOU WILL DO WELL TO PLAY TO HANDICAPP as a first outing.

The greens are very good and run true, this will be enjoyed by both the golfing snob as well as the avaerage joe golfer like myself. The staff are very friendly and the course offfers losts of buggies for hire. The card wrecker is the 15th, beware as there is trouble everywhere!

The reason I joined was the fat the club house is very friendly and gives you the impression everyone knows each other, very welcoming for guests to share a fable or two about the round in hand.

Although quite tight in places, there are plenty of chances to use your driver, however if you are really wild you are not punished too much as the fairways run quite close to each other.

There is a nice variety of holes from long par 4's to short and nearly driveable par 4's as well.

I also liked the par 3 16th and the last is very tempting to drive the green.

Will certainly go back in the future.

What a great course! we went out as a fourball on a saturday at 1230 and managed to get round before dark, despite a society in front of us.my particular favourites were the par 3 16th and par 4 18th, both spectacular holes, down hill all the way, with invisible undulations from he 18th tee. some spectacular scenery, only let down were the bunkers, which after the rain seemed more like rockpools. all in all a 9/10

I decided to play the main course having not played it for some time. The changes are amazing!! We went out as a fourball on saturday morning and cruised round in about 4 hrs. The fairways were fantastic and the greens were quick and true. We will start using this course for a regular get together, the greenfees are very reasonable and were even thinking of bringing our society here. A great round followed but a friendly bar atmosphere for a couple of pints and some food before home.

Played 11 holes on the twilight deal for £10.50 which was great value. Fairways were in great nick and some challenging lies & bunkers. bunker sand was like concrete but we had just had a couple of days of rain. Greens were slow but in good condition. Well worth playing and great value

Fantastic views and in the wind a great test of a golfers mental as well as physical abilities. In calm weather conditions course is there for the taking.

You need to run the ball onto greens on quite a few holes and firm fairways and brownish coloured sand gives a linksy feel to the course.

Very good value for money although greens can be diabolical in the winter and I just hope they improve for summer.

This course is on the edge of the Chilterns so as you can imagine it is anything but flat. Some of the holes offer some great views but walking the course can get a little tiring for some. Great 18th follows the hills back down to the club house.
