Played this course on 15th March and was pleasantly surprised. The course presents a decent enough challenge for high and low handicaps (although only one Par 5) and favours straight drives over long drives as some of the fairways are very tight, greens were in exceptional condition given the amount of rain recently and staff were friendly. The newer holes were of less interest but still enjoyed the round. The £21 fee represents good value compared to other courses in the area.

I have lived in the area for the last 11 years and during the summer months i used to enjoy the odd round at this great little course, for the last 2 months i have been lucky enough to have become a member here.
since joining we have had a lot of rain but the condition of the course for this time of year is fantastic the greens are super and the fairways are well maintained .this is due to the hard work of the green keeping staff,so if you are in the area give the club a go ....you wont be upset.

One of these courses that you keep going back to. NOt the most prominent in the area but a very nice course indeed.Although not far from London you do not feel its presence as you play.
How many courses do you play where the green keeping staff come and ask how you are finding the condition of the courseas you play? Very friendly all round.
Course itself is playing very hard at the moment (as I'm sure many are). We found ourselves running the ball onto greens to hold the putting surface. A few of the greens have problem with pitting and can be quite bobbly.
Course is quite tight, with tree line fairways, until you get to the 12th - 16th. They have a very links like feel to them.
Worth a visit if your not the member of a local club and fancy 18 at the weekend.
