Golf Club de St Jean-de-Monts Player Reports
Lee Hopkins (England) 28/07/05
An excellent course, which sits right on the edge of The Atlantic Ocean. Contrasting holes, with the front 9 being played amongst the trees on tight fairways and the back 9 opening up into a links style. We played late June & the course was in fantastic condition, with well kept greens that offered many slopes & tiers to contend with. With a driving range, 3 short practice holes & a great clubhouse St Jean de Monts is well worth a visit.......I shall be back!

My friends and I played the course twice in June 2000 and can only describe it as superb value for money.Every hole is a challenge and even after reaching several of the magnificent greens 'in regulation' our certain par suddenly turned into a three or four putt. The greens are tiered and have slopes and borrows but are well kept and a joy to play on.If your in the area this course is a must.

This course is a delight to play tree lined for nine holes then out to the excellent links styled last nine. Watch out for the pin to be on a slope very tricky.
The clubhouse is a sight to be seen coming up the fairway of the 18th. I will be back in May 2000. A superb starting hole over water.

An excellent golf course which became the highlight of our holiday in France. Very well kept and enjoyable to play at a reasonable price. We played it twice and would love to return one day!!

This is a beautiful and challenging course, with a front nine of tight tree lined fairways, and a back nine of traditional links with punishing rough running alongside the ocean. The greens are tiered and fairly fast and very well kept. Excellent clubhouse and pro shop with friendly and efficient staff. Great facilities and a lovely view overlooking the Atlantic. All in all a superb course. I'm going back again this September. Can't wait!
