Only one way to sum this course up - Unmemorable. As with most French courses the greens are great, but you won’t find much here to keep your interest. The course has been created in the grounds of the old chateau which now operates as an exclusive hotel. Sure, here are lots of wonderful old trees and passing views of the chateau, but the course itself is mundane with just a couple of interesting holes manufactured using a combination of doglegs and water. Essentially, a course for those staying in the hotel to while away the afternoon and not a place for serious golfers. As 46 Euro a round (May 2003), it’s not one for me (even though I parred the first 5 holes! ).
