Lovely course, and very welcoming people. Unfortunately, it appears the main purpose for the course is to be mowed rather than played. Despite closing every Tuesday, on a Thursday morning every single hole had a mower, strimmer or waterer on it, none of whom bothered to move out of our way or cease the noise -even when teeing off. On one fairway, the mower actually got off his machine to throw my ball out of his way! Thankfully, the man watering down one green did move his hose to allow my ball to roll on, but nevertheless watered on while we were all putting. Disgraceful course management, and we were very disappointed to have to pay to play amongst all the noise and disruption. I brought this up with a regular player who indicated that apparently this is - pardon the pun - "par for the course" there. As this was a one-off visit, and we were in a rush to meet friends, we didn't complain to the club, but it may be worth checking out if this activity is going on before you play.
