Played here 20th May 2004, a super course, some of the best views around. The course was in perfect condition, sculptured fairways, very slippery and sloping greens. A good test, having said that, for a 1st time visit off 19 not knowing the way I came in 3 under the card. Maybe why I like it so much. Good clubhouse, friendly bar staff and great Guiness. Weekday green fee of 50 euros, 3.50 for a trolley - recommended, visitors cannot use buggys, well worth the money paid. A big plus is you are only 15 minutes max from the airport so can play this if you are on an afternoon flight, subject to the tees being available. Took about 4 hours the round, mainly because of the views, the rough is cut back to just above ball height so your ball is locatable but you need a couple of extra clubs for the distance but then you lose that because the grass grabs the club, so whilst losing a shot, you do not lose your ball! Well worth it.
