This course is affiliated with the Great Southern Hotel, one of Ireland's landmarks. My son and I played here on a hot June day (yes, we sweated!) and enjoyed the course. Set on rolling parkland, the holes meander in and around mature trees, requiring straight tee shots. Views of the water are inspiring and if you can birdie the 10th, as I did, please let me know. This is Parknasilla’s signature hole, a 410-yarder descending through a narrow opening between the pines into a valley with the green perched on a plateau near the rocky beach. It's worth the green fee by itself!
