Teresa and I played Killorglin in October of 2003. Our telephone inquiry was graciously received and our welcome when we arrived in the pro shop was very friendly. The course was in excellent shape, both fairways and greens. The view of the bay and surrounding mountains is breathtaking. The play is very fair as long as you keep in the fairways. Easy to walk and the reception in the bar at the end of the round was second to none. Very highly recommended.

Considering that the course is only 7 or 8 years old, it was superb. Played on a fine Spring day and the views across Dingle Bay one way and the Macgillikuddy Reeks the other were stunning. Quite a long course with several par 5's. Very interesting final hole, I will say no more. Greens and fairways were in excellent condition and when the many trees that have been planted, mature, it will be quite a daunting course. Had no trouble paying a green fee without booking and the staff very friendly. Clubhouse was superb with fine views and excellent Guiness.

I played this course way back in the summer of 95.The morning way misty and damp, just as it should be early morning in Ireland. The course was very new then and presumably still is but the rough was an absolute nightmare...long thick grass that snarled up the face of every club I tried to use. It took me five or six holes to realise that the golden rule just had to apply and that was 'keep it on the fairway.' The people were relaxed and unhurried but what has lived with me the most was the scenery...unbelievable. as i sit here in London I can still picture the rolling hills and lakes. Well worth a visit despite it still being so new.
