Played at Athenry on a lovely warm day in late May, they are in the middle of rebuilding their clubhouse, it looks pretty impressive, but when I was there they were operating out of portacabins, but it was fine. The course was great, the fairways and the greens were impeccable, the greens were quite quick and it took me a while to get the hang of them. But I really enjoyed it and would play there again in the future. The cost for May 2007 was 40 Euro for 18 holes. Just a note of caution, the course is about 8kms from Athenry just off the Galway Road.
