Coming from an area that has some of the best links courses in the world, I thought it would be hard to beat them, how wrong I was. The views from around the course are breathtaking, with many very challenging holes, you will need to be really on top of your game if you are to beat the course. Best holes, the 8th par 3 165 yds over a chasm usually into the wind to a two tier green. The 10th par 4, uphill drive with rocks and the Atlantic ocean immediately to your right, you will need to drive 250 yds into the wind to reach the top of the rise. The hospitality is typical of the Irish, very friendly and welcoming. A must play course if you can.

I've played about 30 Irish links courses now and this is one of the best. From the 5th onwards is quite superb. Not that the first four are bad! Location: some greens and tees RIGHT on the waters edge, Views: magnificent, course: undulating links with some very challenging shots, Best Hole: hard to choose. I liked the par 3 8th which is a 130 yarder over a chasm. The plateau green is perched high in the sky so the whole of Donegal can watch! , overall: not to be missed!
