Doug Johnston (England) 05/10/05
Played in a strong wind and the course was challenging to say the least. Holes 1 to 5 were played in a squall passing and "hanging on" is the only phrase i can use to describe the experience. The greens were fantastic and ran true and pacy. The 3 new holes do not yet fit in with the rest of the course and the par 5 along the bay is a poor hole. Overall a good test of golf which is a great test in anything other than a breeze.

A lovely traditional seaside course that has been ruined by three quite unneccesary new holes that completely change the entire characteristics. The new par 5 that runs around the bay is just totally ridiculous and spoils completely an otherwise fine course

Fantastic course that starts off up in the cliffs and eventually almost down to sea level and then back up. Only over played in calm sunny days and its an sbsolute delight. The first is reminiscent of the 9th at Turnberry as you hit across the water and up to a very tight green. The 2nd is just as daunting once hitting over a gully thats very scary!

A very good course. A couple of great long par 3's. Great views along the Irish coast. You really need your game together when the wind picks up (which is quite often!)
