A nice course that could be better maintained, especially the tee boxes. The 2nd Par 5 is an excellent challenge as is the 13th Par 3. Only real problems are it's lack of decent facilities and the fact they won't let you play on your own. Currently they operate a two for the price of one policy on weekdays which is very inviting. Overall the set up has "amatuer" written all over it but the course is definately worth playing. Just make sure you have a partner to play with!

A course that can be played in all weathers. When most other courses are closed Down Royal will still be open. A very demanding course, taking in a lot of hazardous win bushes, etc.

Probably one of the best courses in the immediate area, well worth a visit.
