Although a bit like a mature English Parkland course this was the most scenic and enjoyable of the courses we played. Quite short with six mostly long but interesting and picturesque par 3's all with a challenge of their own. The course is well established being about 90 years old and the greens were excellent. The clubhouse is like an old Victorian sitting room adding to the club's colonial feel. Very good value.

Much more 'English' than the usual US-style courses we found in Portugal. A couple of longish walks between green & tee but generally a nice course to play. The approach to the 18th green is like playing into someone's back garden and watching others attempt it from the clubhouse balcony while supping a cold beer was a joy!

I played there in march 98, it is a very nice old course more than 75 years. very hilly at some points, and some little streams here and there. but a very nice scenery. accros the road there is a brand new 18 holes course witch is very nice too, i planned to play there this fall. I'll let you all know.
kind regards,
Gerard Smith\r\nHolland\r\n
