Aroeira 1 and 2:

At only 30 minutes far from Lisbon center,on the south side of the Tejo river and near to Caparica,having a extremely mild climate, allowing to play golf all the year.With its two 18 hole courses,is considered by the experts as one of the best Golf Resorts of Europe.
In the middle of a pine-wood of 350 hectares,offers to the nature lover Golf player,the relax and satisfaction that only an almost idyllic environment can offer.

Aroeira I was designed by Frank Pennink one of the most famous architects of golf courses.With an extent of 6044 meters,each of the 18 holes is a challenge by itself, demanding of the player the concentration and skill allowing him to cross the difficulties.This is why several British columnists classify “Aroeira 1” as the “Wentworth” of Lisbon..

Donald Steel's Aroeira 2,has an extent of 6.367 meters,par 72,greens and fairways of a big dimension, surrounded by lakes and bunkers and each hole with 5 Tees.

Green Fees:

Rack Prices from 1st January until 31st December 2007:

Week days,18 holes: € 50,00

Weekends and Holidays,18 holes : € 80,00

Price is the same for both courses.

Buggy Hire : Week Ends 40€ Week Days 30€

Private Apartments with 1,2 and 3 bedrooms for rental inside the Estate

Visitors:

Welcome no restrictions; subject only to having a valid Handicap(36-men; 36-ladies) and availability of tees. New golf school specialising in intensive courses indoor and outdoor facilities.

Driving range.

Buggies,manual trolleys and golfbags available for hire. New 18 hole championship golf course designed by Donald Steel opened in 2000.
