Location/Description:

Just east of Vilamoura off the road leading down to Quarteira. An excellent natural course undulating through umbrella pines with good water hazards and superb greens. 27 holes available.
Host of the Portuguese Open in 1992 and 1993.
Designed by Donald Steel, considered a demanding test of golf. Driving range, 3 putting greens, a golf academy, a pro shop are some of the facilities available. Buggy, trolley and electric trolley for hire. Clubs and shoes are available for hire.
NB: As of the 1st of November 2003 Vila Sol will adopt a 10 minute tee time policy, to provide a faster and more enjoyable round of golf.
