De Vere Cameron House Hotel Player Reports

Played this two weeks or so after opening and was impressed. some stunning holes form a steady start which leads to a very impressive back nine, particularly the par three signature hole, a raised tee down to the green some 75 feet below. very smart clubhouse but some teething troubles with leaking showers, almost flooded the locker room. great scenery and close to loch lomond. whilst its a great setting, don't be fooled into thinking its like THE loch lomond club. its good, but not in the same league, that said, its accessible to all. good value membership and joining fee. if i was local i'd definately consider becoming a member but i also think this course will be very very busy with visitors and hotel guests. definately worth a visit. good clubhouse, modern food but very slow service. heaven forbid had it been busy. this club will be a top drawer addition to the area once the housing development and some other bulding works are done and dusted.
