Played this gem of a course last week, and I thoroughly enjoyed it.Greens are in the process of being upgraded, but all round, this course is great fun.The staff were helpful, and the views from the clubhouse on to the sea were great.

Just played there in their 18 Hole Open. Nice easy first 4 holes then three incredible par 3s. The Rockies (5th) is 235 yds of the back tees, which you have to hit with a cut 3 or 4 iron over the edge of a cliff. Great hole. Thoroughly enjoyed it and good friendly members in clubhouse as well.

Played in late Oct.'98. Cold rain and strong wind made the round most exhilerating. Long par-3 along rocky shore is challenging and picturesque. A fun course well worth playing. Will definitely play there again during 2000 Open.

Provides an incredible par 3 of approximately 220 yards which requires a cut shot started over the ocean. Played there in 1984 and was invited by an extremely friendly membership to have drinks in their new clubhouse built by the members. A perfect round if you are going to St. Andrews but don't have enough time left in the day.

I Had A Pleasant Quick Nine In The Evening With Scenic Views And A Strong Breeze, Giving Me The Chance For A Test Of My Shot Making Abilities. If Anstruther Is On My Way To St.andrews Again One Day, I Might Drop In Again. Thanks For Your Hospitality Wolfgang E-mail: Wolfgang.winter@rz.unibw-muenchen.de
