Balbirnie Park is a beautiful course to visit.
I was booked in to play a single round on my own, however, with the help of the Pro I was introduced to two local players, Gavin and Willie.
I had a great day, the Course was great, the company was great. A very friendly and welcoming place.

Pro was very helpful and the members were really friendly. Played the course on a sunny day in March for a bargain £15. Played off slightly forward tees but this did not distract from a superb layout that is amazingly only 20 years old. There are some very tight drives (12th and 13th stood out) and some superb par 3's (7th) and a lot of tough shots into well protected greens. The 16th is a cracking hole but the best is kept to last with the 18th being a delightful par 5 played downhill with a walled burn in front of the green and the magnificent clubhouse behind the green. If you're in Fife and fancy a break from Links golf then this course won't let you down.

It was a great experience to play this course. The course as a whole was a bit taxing as I have a high handicapp but to be able to play a course like this, and especially the 16th hole which is beautiful, was great. Thank you for a wonderful time, I'll definately come back!

Balbirnie Park Golf Club is one of the finest around. Situated in beautiful surroundings this course provides a challenge without being too taxing. An excellent course to play if you want a relaxing game and to finish in the nineteenth in one of the finest club house's around. An excellent day out.

This one of the finest courses that I have played. If you want to play a course that requires some acurate tee shots on some holes but is not too demanding & has a terific variation of holes, then this is for you. It has a superb finishing hole a par five with a down hill approach to a green protected in the front by a burn. Afterwards enjoy views the of this over a meal from the superb club house.

Can I draw your attention to the fact that you are missing one of the finest parkland courses in Fife in the shape Balbirnie Park Golf Club. It is a par seventy -two course in the grounds of the 5 star Balbirnie House Hotel Markinch. Fife. In my opinion the course ranks as one of the finest parkland courses in Britain and the clubhouse is the best I have ever seen. Contact 01592 752206 for the pro shop who will give you more details.
