I have been playing Banchory since 1982. The course was altered during 1994/5 and the new layout played from April 1996. We moved overnight from the old to the new, there are still some areas which need time to recover. Areas formerly Rough now constitute Fairways, changes of use of this extreme cannot be effected instantly. It is anticipated that given our normal quota of Sun, Rain, a dedicated workforce and the understanding of our Members, Banchory Golf Course will again soon delight both Member and our Welcome Visitors. Note for Resident from Bermuda; your holiday home in Banchory probably satisfies requirements allowing Full Membership. Contact the Club Office. submitted by Pat Lennon.
