Played this course as part of a Scottish tour in September 07. Very pleasant scenary, but it's not much more than an extended pitch and putt course, 4441 yards off yellows, par 63. Albeit an established and well maintained course. Green fee's therefore are considered a little steep at £22 a round. Been there, done it, won't be back during future Scotland tours.

We played this course recently and found it to be short but interesting. Some of the par 3's were deceptive. An easy walking course and one I would play again. Fantastic views to take your mind off a bad round.... but watch out for the midges they remind you of your round for a week afterwards with all the itching!!

I just happened upon your web site on the Callander Golf Club. It brought back happy memories because I learned to play on the course almost 55 years ago. In those days the grass cutters were sheep and it rained continuously. The club house was as I recall one small shack.I now live in Florida near a beautiful course with a magnificent club house that will never compare in my heart to Callander. In those days my Aunt owned a small hotel on the Main Street called Kinnell. Graeme Wilkie. gwilkie@ix.netcom.com

Callander Is Located In A Relatively Urban Setting --no Sheep Grazing Surrounding Hillsides Here. The Course Is Very Well-maintained With Fine Greens. The People In The Clubhouse And The Proshop Were Among The Friendliest And Most Generous We Met In Scotland. The Course Is Short And Easy.
