Carradale Golf Club Player Reports

As treasurer of this lovely club, with amazing views over the Kilbrannan Sound to Arran, come and try our nine-hole intersting course for only £12 per day.
A warm welcome awaits you.
jonathan goldie (originally Scotland, now Canada.) 17/12/02
I have played this course since I was 5 years old, and every
round is diferent. The Standard Scratch of 64 is almost impossible to achieve of the back tees. Testament to this is
the course record, which is 67 i believe, and is held by a local amateur player. Wonderful views of Arran, unpredictable weather and a rural location make this course a hidden gem which I would recommend to anyone.
Tony Gray (England) 27/07/01
All courses are unique but there can't be anywhere else like Carradale. The yardage is short and the par is low but don't be fooled by that. Some of the greens are cut into the hillsides and they are small too. If you miss them you are usually in trouble. But don't be put off, it is a great experience to play there.
The place is very nicely kept and has the most beautiful views. Usually it is very quiet.
The wind is never in the same direction for very long and never seems to be helping! If you get one on the green on the par 3 3rd you have played a great shot. In about 50 attempts I've done it once.
If you are in Kintyre you should play this one.
