Comrie Golf Club Player Reports

I played at Comrie on a fine, early morning last June, with the sun up, and the dew tracks still on the greens. This course is a delight. In common with the other highland 9 hole layouts, the course is compact but challenging, and requires that you use your brain as much as your muscles. I must particularly mention the clubhouse, which was in very good condition, and had some excellent home cooking on the menu.

I played the course with my son on 28 August. Despite our lack of experience we managed to get around the beautiful course. We were mad very welcome by everyone there and would like to return to Scotland to play again - hopefully with fewer strokes.
John Eyton-Jones (England) 09/08/00
This course is an absolute delight. In good condition with superb scenery. A true test of golf with not much room for error. The par 3 third, uphill to a postage stamp green is particularly interesting and watch out for the clubhouse with your second to the ninth.

If ever a course deserved the description
' little gem ' this is it. We wanted to find a course near to Crieff for a 9 hole 'loosener' and booked in at Comrie. Everyone wanted to stay for the day !
Great layout, across a hill with good greens. Secluded, peaceful and a joy to play.

This Course Is The Epitome Of The Scottish Village Layout. 9 Holes. You Play In Proximity To The Village, But Traverse Up And Down A Lush Remote-feeling Mountainside. A Truly Beautiful Setting! The Course Is Not Located On Extensive Terrain. You Will Lose Your Big Hook Or Slice Here. Very Friendly People Run The Course.
