Had the oppotunity to play the 18 hole course 3 times last week and the nine hole course once.
The driving range is well set up with good facilities. The 9 hole course is challenging and gets you ready for the main course. Plenty of tight tree-lined fairways.
The 18 hole course is the best i have played in Scotland to date. Many holes have out of bounds and some with blind 2nd shots. A course that you can play safe with an iron of the tee, or risk the driver, knowing out of bounds, long rough or trees await the slightly poor shot. The course is undulating, but that is what makes this couse special.

Easily the best parkland course in Scotland by miles.Great variety of holes and the greens are receptive and run true. Your are always made most welcome especially by Alistair , the Club Pro. You really must play this course. Great food and drink also.

I've played this course many times over the last couple of years with Mike "Wild-man" Forbes and its always been a pleasure (shame about the company). Invariably went to the clubhouse afterwards for great, cheap beer and excellent food (usually a perfectly cooked fillet steak). I really can't recommend it highly enough.

Played this course several hundred times between 1986-1991. Finest\r\ngreens on an parkland course in all of Scotland during July/August.\r\nMen's only bar. Alistair can do magic on any swing, and plays a mean\r\ngame. Hope Jim is well. All the best...Tim
