This course is shortish but is on a hilly, very exposed moorland and is well protected by the wind (and the rain). The difficulty of many holes is determined by the direction of the wind. The par 3's are a good mix of short/long and testing particularly the green at the 3rd in summer which will test your ability to get down in 2 putts.
Not necessarily a course which is on a must play list but if you are in the Barrhead area, the weather is fine and you have the time give it a go. The staff and the members give you a good welcome so enjoy the course and the chat after the round.

I've been a member at the club for 10 years and it is in the best condition that I can remember. The rough is punishing and if it's windy (which it usually is) it is a real test. The greens are always excellent.
