Not too bad for an Kodak Brownie! In the background behind Moray is the Moray Firth and west towards Inverness. Beautiful day with a flat calm sea and other than the temporary tees the course was excellent.

Could not resist this one. Everything about the shot was perfect other than it fell a foot short in the face of a greenside bunker. The effect on Moray in in the inset...

Wouldn't mind if the son was only using my clubs, balls, jersey but he has also pinched my setup and swing! The course was in good condition given the time of year with full greens and no restrictions on trollies.

James Braid did a remarkable job when he squeezed 18 holes into a strip of land which reduces from about the width of a par 5 to the width of a par 3 at the tip. If the beach does not get you then the gorse and whins will...
