what a fantastic course! this was the second course on our four day trip and the second time i have played this course. the greens were in exceptional condition for the time of year and the fairways were well manicured and kept also.
the new clubhouse is really nice and we all received a warm welcome by the staff in there. it has beautiful views over berwick and is also resonably priced.
back to the course though, and each hole has its own individual feature. the first plays around 380 yards with an elivated green. when you finally climb the steep hill up to the green it offers unbelievable views of the firth of fourth and the surrounding areas. i personally prefer the front nine to the back but its a course well worth playing on.
i will definately return in the near future. a must play in the area. the only let down is the lack of a driving range!

I played The Glen today for the first time. Stunning views and some excellent holes especially on the back nine. The greens were ok. The new clubhouse is fantastic, this place is fanstastic value for money.

I enjoyed playing here but the greens were not realy good enough for this area, with all the great courses around. It should be a 'Hidden gem' but the greens let it down.
Great veiws and some nice holes.
Good for at reasonable prices but the are moving in to a plush new club house soon, will the prices go up!

visited in Sept 03. Great course, brilliant scenery. greens were holding well and true for putting. Experienced both extremes of weather in same day resulting in two entirely different strategies to get round the course without total emabrassment. Would definitely visit again !!!
Rating 9/10

Scottish Blind Golf have played their national championship here for the last 14 years, and they don't want to go anywhere else! A top class challenging course with great assistance and hospitality offered by the club and it's members. Though the rough has gotten a bit heavy, the fairways are fair, and the greens are always true and in magnificent order. A quality golf course well worth a visit any time of the year.

A great classic links course which we played during the open week. The views are simply breathtaking , especially out to Bass Rock . The course was in perfect condition and the welcome in the clubhouse was great. All this for £22!!
Too many wonderful holes to talk about but the 18 th coming back to town is breathtaking.Play it !!

The Glen is a cracking course with more than it's fair share of good holes. The Sea Hole is the most famous but I thought the 9th was a tremendous par 3. I also really liked the 12th, a long par 4 down to the sea, and 18th with one of the best views in world golf. If you're touring East Lothian don't miss this one.

I played the course for the first time recently and enjoyed the challenge of the strong wind and varied holes. Especially enjoyed the 9th, downhill with the wind a satisfying shot from the tee and drove the green with a 5 iron. Great course which I will play again soon hopefully.

a group of 8 lads from yorkshire played here in a strong easterly wind with drizzle all day in march..and thoroughly enjoyed the course ..what more can be said for an excellent course an a very friendly clubhouse...the steak pie was something else ...we'll be back in summer just to see if the greens are still as fast...many thanks to all the members who made the trip so enjoyable..

This was our first round in Scotland in the course was very enjoyable. I enjoyed the par 3 holes very much. Fun 18th hole too, with a great view of the town.
If you have some extra time give it a try.

I fell in love with this course (as did my wife) when we first played it and joined. We have been members for 8 years and it is one of the best investments we have ever made. The people at the Glen are great and the staff very friendly. This course is a bit tame when the conditions are quiet and there has been enough rain, but the greens are always difficult and when the wind blows (even 15 mph) playing to your handicap is difficult. (I play to a USGA handicap of 10 but a Scottish handicap of 14).
