Green Hotel Golf Courses Player Reports
Grant Thomson (Scotland) 05/05/04
Played both courses on a day ticket. Blue course very challenging - every hole is impressive after the 3rd - Red course seems much easier yet almost equal in length to Blue. This is probably the friendliest course i've visited, including both the staff in the pro shop and the members we met on the course. Can't fault a single thing about Kinross - excellent day out.
Chris Laidler (England) 29/03/04
Played the course on Sat 27th March 2004, when light rain turned into torrential downpour (quite after 9 holes).
Staff very friendly, and welcoming, course very quiet. Managed to get a tee booking without any fuss (on a weekend morning !!) Played with a newcomer, who has been hooked on the game since his first experience.
Fairways were in fabulous condition and plenty of water hazards to get you thinking.
Greens were a bit waterlogged, but that could have been the weather (as it was very wet, even for Scotland)
Would definately play again, although perhaps I'd check on the weather first.

Played both courses, simply a superb location. Just a shame that the courses are in such appalling condition. The greens and the rough are awful. The bunkers are full of stones, all in all poorly kept and untidy , it does not deserve the fee.

Played the Blue course in June 2000. This course is superb. Excellent condition, frightening greens (especially 4th), stunning scenery and tranquility abounds. Millionaire golf. Returning to play the Red next year.
Neil (uk) 03/05/00
Played both courses on a recent golfing break and despite recent very heavy rain
locally, they were in excellent condition. Although equally enjoyable, the blue course is definately superior both in terms of challenge & beauty.
The Club House is a must visit for reasonably priced, good quality food & beer.

I have played this course many times as my Grandfather has been a member for many years. I have got to say that both the blue and the red courses are as spectacular and good as each other. No matter what part of the course that you are on, you are sure that you will be given, the peace and quiet, the challenge of the course and finally the spectacular views that you deserve. This course is a must for any golfer.
