Harburn Golf Club Player Reports
Gary McAdle (Lanarkshire) 29/07/02
I have played Harburn on numerous occassions, and having played any number of different courses across the Central belt of Scotland, I can without doubt say that Harburn is the best course I have played..
The greenkeeping team do a marvellous job of maintaining the course in almost perfect condition.
The course is not the longest, but is very fair..The 8th, 10th and 15th are particular favourites.
I can also recommend the club house for meals and refreshments..
Overall a course that is a match for any golfer, regardless of handicap..
Graham McMeeking (Scotland) 07/08/01
Harburn is in my mind the best course in the Lothian district.
The fairways and greens are perfect and well maintained.
Infact they are in better condition that the Dukes Course in St Andrews
But hey!!Watch out for the 15th ????
This is one Par 3 that can easily be a double bogey.

I have played this course many times and would thoroughly recommend it to all. Most holes are tree lined with out of bounds hazards appearing at various stages. The fairways and greens are imaginitively shaped and have always been in great condition.
The clubhouse is freindly and the food superb.
Give it a go.
