Played on a lovely sunny afternoon. Hiking boots are not exactly recommended but you feel at times as if you wish you had them on as there are one or two steep climbs. Pro in the shop was very helpful. Greens were very lush and in decent condition. The 12th (Dell) is a cracking little 280 yard par 4. Some nice driving holes over the gorse covered gully between the 14th and 17th holes. Worth a visit for the views over the firth of Clyde if nothing else.
