played here kilspindie on (30/04/08). The weather was poor in morning so we tried a later tee time and the weather got out great. And the course did not disappoint. The greens were in tip top shape and ran true.
The course itself is spot on with i think 4 holes running along the beach which i did find once. Not the longest course but you have to be accurate from the tee as some of the rough will catch you out. The club house is very pleasant and the staff in there are really friendly and helpful. Kilspindie was one of my favourites on the trip and I would have no hesitation on returning in the near future.

we played at kilspindie on the wednesday of our trip (30/04/08) and i have to say that the greens were the best we putted on the entire trip.
the course is again very scenic with great views from several tee boxes. it isnt the longest course with several drivable par 4s with a prevailing wind but you have to be accurate from the tee as some of the rough will snag any loose drives.
the club house is very quaint but the staff in there are really friendly and helpful. sadly i cant say the same thing about the pro in the pro shop. he was very dismissive of our group and wasnt very welcoming. also, the course planners are way over priced (£4) and they werent very helpful at all.
apart from this small gripe kilspindie is worth a visit as it is a true links course with some interesting and challenging holes.
congratulations to the green staff for maintaining the course to such a high standard!!!!

A small and inviting club with very friendly and welcoming staff, we lay this course on our second daty and we are certainly glad we did. The changing rooms are basic with showers available but the were out off order when we went but that was our only groan all day we paid for a day ticket £52 and got 28 holes before we had to depart due to flights home. The first five holes are stunning and a real challenge to any handicap. My personal favourite out of all the holes is the 16th (flagstaff)not a long hole but when the wind blows boy what a test but to single out just one hole is not right. The whole course is fantastic and the greens are the best I have played on (not a pitchmark in site) The clubhouse is small but well stocked on single malts so watch out if you hit a hole in one, our group all had drinks and food and no-one complained. If your in the area I would not hesitate to tell you to play it great value for money

Just the ticket, I was looking for what I would regard as a quality links course with beach, sea and cliff views and that is waht I got. Holes 2 3 4 offer the challenge of hitting right and being over the cliff which was brilliant. Fantastic facilities, friendly professional for lone english holidayer like myself. Would definately go back. Good food and beer to finish.

I have been able to play Kilspindie Golf Club several times with my good friend who is a member there. It is one of best links courses I have ever played and I haved played a few.The first hole is just great, the view of the firth is just out of sight.I am playing again in June 2007 and I am going to par #1, Ihope. The greens are great and the fairways are great if you keep the ball there. My favorite holes are 1-9-11-18.The club house is great and the 19th hole is just the BEST.

Played on 18 July 2005. Fantastic experience, right on the coast - in fact a couple of balls ended up on the beach, thanks to the windy conditions which prevailed on the first few holes! Lots of challenging but short par 4's made it an excellent course for the high handicapper. Very friendly staff.
