Argentine Guest House Whiting Bay KA27 8PZ  About 4 miles South East of Lamlash Golf Club
A stay with Assya and Bruno (originally from Switzerland) at the Argentine Guest House is a unique and memorable experience. We offer you every morning a sumptuos breakfast buffet with fruit juices, yoghurt, fresh fruit salad, cereals, different cold meat, local cheeses, jams and marmelades (some of them suitable for diabetics!), coffee and a choice of over 20 different teas. All rooms, tastefully decorated during Spring 2004, are now equipped with TFT-TV-sets, a Radio-Alarm with an integrated CD-Player (so you can take your favourite CD's and listen to them with plenty of time and tranquility to enjoy). We offer also a large lounge to while in and discuss the days events and have a wee dram with it. In the evening - or on rainy days - the tables in the dining room may be used to play board games, of which we have a few interesting ones to try. Next to the Guest House are some of Arran's best restaurant. We are glad to book a table for you.

The hotel has been under the same ownership for the last 20 years over which its has been catering for golfers at the world famous Machrihanish Golf Club. Also close by are the courses at Carradale with it's majestic views of Arran, and the links course of Dunaverty at Southend with it's fabulous views of Ailsa Craig and Northern Ireland.
The hotel is also situated within easy walking distance of the Springbank whisky distillery which is one of the few family owned distilleries in the world
