Greenfees are up to £35 weekdays, but for the chance to play one of the best courses in Lanarkshire this is still a small price to pay.
Although the weather tried to play havoc with the day out, the course was in imaculate condition, greens were pristine and a credit to the green-keepers. A must for anyone wanting an enjoyable game, and a testing one if the wind is blowing!!
James Mccann (Scotland) 25/06/04
Played on a lovely sunny Friday morning with little wind. The greens were large and fast - as good putting surfaces as you would care to play on. EVERY bunker on the course had been raked - now when did you last see that happen? The tee areas were immaculately kept - this is a course where they pay attention to little things like keeping grass cut low and often!! Apart from the rough, of course which is tough if you stray from generously wide fairways - as it should be. Bar meals were VERY reasonably priced - you will LOVE IT when you play this course; it is a GENUINE hidden Scottish golf treasure, believe me.

The course was in quite good condition, although the rough was punishing. The greens where fast and true, not a bad course, but it is spoilt by the short par 4 5th, which you drive onto a hill, and your drive always ends up at the bottom of the hill, then a sand iron 50ft up to the green, stupid hole that spoils the course.

Played course for first time and was instantly impressed. Overall layout and condition is superb, design is fantastic as was reception from both staff and members. Course was very rewarding for good shots and penalised for inaccurate shots, but thats golf. Rough very thick and long in places, but you shouldn't be there.
Course condition was immaculate with large flat tee's, firm well manicured fairways with plenty of definition. Large greens which run true and at a great pace (I'm used to fast green's so beware).
Overall, a great test of golf and well worth the visit.

Excellent greens and tees, otherwise a nightmare experience.Beware of the jungle if you venture a couple of feet of the fairway. Punished severely if you dare stray of course. Not impressed with the knee length rough throughout.
Very snobish club.
Members seem to think that they and their course are better than most others infact some made comparisons with Lanark and St. Andrews And Gleneagles!!!!!
