Largs Golf Club Player Reports

Largs is a fantastic wee course, really hard to fault for the modest green fees.
The welcome from the members was exceptionally friendly, the course was in excellent condition for the time of year. Although on the short side, there are some very good holes and the par of 68 does not mean that this is an easy game of golf.
Minor gripes: the condition of the winter tees was quite variable with a lot of mats, that's a small complaint considering we paid £15 for full greens (which were in superb condition), that's not much to moan about.
Recommended.

Quality 'meadow' course (it's so close to the sea you would have assumed a 'links' course sandy based turf) lush fairways & firm greens. Deceptively challenging. Superb views of the Firth of Clyde - Cumbrae Isle, the Arran mountains. A 'must play' course when in the Largs area.

Pretty parkland course, inexpensive, very friendly members, excellent views of Cumbrae, is worth playing!

Great course and reasonably priced in comparison with the overated \r\nand over priced Gailes courses in Irvine
