My second visit here as my previous comments from 2003. Once again a great day, good food, staff were more than helpful and course was again in great condition, was going to play North Berwick area in 2006 but may again return here instead.

Played here on Wednesday 19 May 2004. Greeted by friendly staff and enjoyed a really good test of golf. Although relatively short in distance, you must think your way around the course, which was in lovely condition. The surrounding views are magnificent and there are some beautiful holes. The clubhouse is warm & friendly, the beer is good and the food is excellent & very good value. Ate my lunch overlooking the 18th on a sunny afternoon. Thought I'd died & gone to heaven. Wonderful!!

Our second course in our scottish borders trip and not to be disappointed. Lovely quite setting with holes running alongside village. Front 9 more mature than back 9. All holes very challenging and at times hilly. especially Holes 11 & 12 (I think) 11 a downhill par 4 which is easy on the legs but back up the same sort of hill to 12 which has a table top green which slops back down the hill, a hard putt and off you go to retrieve your ball again!! Very reasonably priced food and very cheap lager with friendly staff and a nice Clubhouse made our day worth while and would possibly visit again next year.

Very pleasant course with driveable par fours, set in beautiful countryside this is golf as it should be played, definately one not to be missed.

We played this course as part of a 12 course tour of the Borders. We rated it 5th best. The first nine were excellent. The second nine although hillier were less attractive and had fewer hazards. Too many holes were squeezed into too small an area resulting in some annoying criss-crossing during the second nine. The greens were superb and the fairways generous. The clubhouse and facilities were great and the food good value.
We will be back.
