Described by Paul Lawrie, the 1999 Open Champion as, “as fine a links course as you could wish to play” and by Peter Alliss, the former Ryder Cup Player and much revered TV Commentator as, “a hidden gem”; testaments don’t come much better than these.

Located 5 miles to the North of Aberdeen City Centre on the A90 road, Murcar Links Golf Club adjoins Royal Aberdeen to the South; with Cruden Bay only 20 minutes drive North. Aberdeen Airport (ABZ) is a mere 9 miles or 15 minutes by road from the Murcar Links and ABZ can be accessed from many UK and European airports.

Murcar is a natural Championship Links in the finest of Scottish traditions. Established in 1909 to the design of Archie Simpson, with later refinements by five times Open Champion James Braid, it has recently undergone alterations and improvements under the watchful eye of Graeme J Webster/Team Niblick Ltd.
