Had looked forward to playing this course for a while and despite getting drowned during playing the first hole (when the heavens opened and it rained very heavily for about 15 mins), I have to say I was not disapointed.
It is a gem of a little 9 hole course, played twice to give you 18 excellent holes with different tee positions for the second 9.
Very hilly and when blustery as it was on this day club selection difficult. The fairways were cut very narrow so any wayward shot landed in rough. Best holes have to be the short 5th and the 9th a dog leg and down hill all the way.
I look forward to getting back to play in the not too distant future

An exposed hilltop moorland course of 9 holes. Not the easiest course to play - definitley needs a few rounds to find the correct lines.
Fairly rough condition with a large amount of moss in some areas. Probably survives through the hard work of local golf addicts.
The second is a par 3 of 144 yards but plays longer as all uphill. The 9th/18th is probably the best hole on the course and position for the 2nd/3rd shot is essential if you are going to make your par.
Not a course you should make a special trip to play but if you are passing have a go.
