The course is good. The rough and fairways are a little long but all in all the course gives a fantastic round of golf.

I played this course last summer fot the first time for over a year and thoroughly enjoyed it. There is a new Green Keeper who does an absolutely fantastic job. the greens are getting better and better and the tees and fairways were superb. i look forward to playing again this summer with my father who is a member.

A nice, neat, well kept little course that maybe suffers a little from being the cheapest course in the area. Summer hols see rather a lot of kids converge on the course who I have to say, are on the whole, pleasant and respectful. However, I have known visitors walk off in disgust vowing never to return after being stuck behind rather a rowdy '7' ball! A bit of supervision may be in order. Also a dress code wouldnt go a miss. Reebok Classics, shell suits and jeans don't encourage conscientious behaviour. All this contributes to a cheap and cheerful image which it scarcely deserves as Sanquahar is a good course with some interesting and challenging holes particularly the long par 4's and the 2 par 3's

A warm welcome from the Greenkeeper! Although the weather was not on our side, my son and I thoroughly enjoyed the challenge this quaint little course offered. The par threes were particularly challenging. Considering the conditions, we both felt the course had been well looked after and gave us a splendid start to our golfing holiday. We will be certainly recommending this course to our friends and will hope to play it again when visiting the area.
