What a great setting to have a golf course. Very picturesque and one of the best manicured I have seen so far this year, outstanding. Some interesting holes. The only let down was that the course is very play up one way and play back down the other which in the summer months could be interesting as the stray shots could cause problems for other golfers on tees etc. But hey take that aside and you have a wonderful course in quite a stunning place. Play it you will not be disappointed.

Played here on 17 May 2004. This is the 6th time I have played this course and have never failed to be mesmerised by the tranquility and gorgeous scenery of the course next to the river Tweed. There are some quite testing holes and straight hitting is required, but who cares if the ball goes into the water. Alovely place and a must to play when in the area. Go on enjoy it!!

This course is pretty, most of the holes being set on the banks of the River Tweed. Course design means that right handed slicers are safe, as the river is close by on the left going out and far away across the shared fairway on the right coming home. Double width fairways mean that stray shots are rarely penalised. The course is quite featureless, a few trees, a little rough and some water need to be avoided. It looks like it is kept in good condition though.

We played this as part of a 12 course tour of the Borders. We rated this the joint 6th best course and the joint second best 9-hole course. Some great holes, especially the second in a very attractive setting. Hookers/pullers beware - 3,5 and 6 all run along the banks of the River Tweed.
The greens were superb. The facilities are quite limited.

Good course, a signature 2nd Hole that must be played. However\r\nslicers watch out as the River Tweed runs along one side and can\r\noften contain bathers.
