Played this unique course at the end of March on a very nice day. We were really welcomed nicely and given lots of info about the course. To say the first 7 holes are a bit up and down would be a rather large understatement but if you have survived those then the last 11 are much flatter (still some ups and downs). The tee shot on the first is something to behold so make sure you are nicely warmed up before you start. The views are quite superb from most of the holes and the greens were not too bad on our visit. There are only a couple of bunkers on the course but the banks, burns and ponds make sure there are enough hazards.

Magnificient course in stunning setting.Played this course for the first time 9th November 2005 and the experience is one I will not forget. Challenging but very enjoyable though you certainly need to be fit to get up the hills! A number of the holes are over water so choosing the correct club is very important! I would say to anyone on holiday in the Highlands to put this course on top of their "must plays" as I can guarantee you will not be disappointed. I am already planning my second visit to here in Spring 2006.

Wow ! Strathpeffer is still my favourie course on the planet. Played it for the first time in about 4 years on a week long tour, but it's still a gem. Stiff opening 7 holes, but what a joy. Clubhouse refurbishments are very smart too. Will be checking on house prices next time I am up !

Not exactly in a very accessible location for visitors such as myself, but well woth the effort - the views alone are superb. In good condition and one of the most memorbale courses I have played.

What a marvellous course! We played the Strathpeffer course early in May 2001. Beautiful holes and beautiful scenery. Very friendly people indeed. (And very nice strawberrypie)
A warning for my fellow countrymen: when you have played golf on this course, it will be quite a shock when you are back on the flat Dutch golfcourses.
Many thanks,
Bas

I found the course interesting and challenging. But the thing that impressed me was the magnificent views, and the friendly people. Many thanks for a splendid day. robinsa8@btlip13.bt.co.uk
