I visited The Torvean Golf Club with a Friend and his Son who had both moved to the area in recent times.
My Friend had not played a round of Golf previously and his Son had only played three prevoius rounds.
The Golf Club made us very welcome and told both my partners not to worry in the least about there lack of experience, so long as they kept moving they would be fine. This lead to a very enjoyable day for the two novices and alowed us all to enjoy a great Golf Course.
The Course itself is ideal for players of all grades.
Many thanks for the very warm welcome recieved .

In excellent condition, thanks to their quality Greenkeeping staff, the course has a nice layout with a scenic front 8 alonside the Caledonian Canal to Loch Ness and sports a "Monster" of it's own in the par 5 fifth at over 565 yards, there are also 3 of the toughest finishing holes, which have the abilty to ruin any semi-decent scorecard. The Clubhouse and Decking are very welcoming, just like the members. Overall, a well run Club and Course, which I have no hesitation in recommending to all.

I joined this club this year. The club has excellent greenkeeping staff who have improved the course 100%. It used to be council staff who looked after the course before. There is 3 new greens which are not in play yet. They are 1st,9th,and the 17th but should be in play in the next month or so.You will be made welcome at the club as a member or visitor.

I golfed this municipal course on my vacation to Scotland. It was a very beautiful course. Not a tough play. It has a very nice front eight then you cross the road to the not so picturesque rest. I recommend this course just for those first eight holes and the price. Thank you nice people of Scotland.
