ITS AN EXCELLENT NINE HOLE COURSE AND EACH TIME YOU GO ROUND ITS MORE CHALLENGING THAN THE LAST. ITS QUITE A HILLY COURSE BUT YOU DON'T NEED THE HIKING BOOTS. AT THE HOLES WITH THE GULLIES YOU ARE BETTER LEAVING IT SHORT OF THE TOP SO YOU CAN HIT YOUR NEXT SHOT OVER THE TOP OF IT. IF YOU HIT IT STRAIGHT DOWN YOU HAVE A POSSIBILITY OF HITTING IT INTO THE BURN.

Get your hiking boots ready for this hilly moorland course. The first hole is straight uphill and the next few cross many a burn. On many holes it is actually better to lay up short of the gullys that cross the fairways so you can see where you're going with your second shot. The par 3 5th is a smashing hole crossing over a gully/burn to a raised green. The greens are quite sloping so you need to position your ball below the pin to give you a chance.

For a nine hole course all the holes are very challenging so that on the second time round you dont feel that you are just repeating the same route all the time. watch out for the burns as there is one and sometimes two on each hole.
