stayed with a group end april 2007.Greens had been sanded before we arrived which alarmed us when we played friday afternoon,as the weekend progressed the greens improved. This course has many challenging holes and would be enjoyed for the challenge, the scenery, and the clubhouse run by the owners, great fun not to strict and if its sunny a brilliant area to sit outside with a few beers. The packages on offer are great value and if you get the weather it is a brilliant place to spend some time

Played Thursday 23rd August 2007, disappointed by the overall condition of the course and facilities, no changing rooms, advised to change in the hall!Food average quality but facilities in need of a good overhaul to bring up to standard, prefered lies on back 9, 12 months of the year as course generally wet underfoot.

Stayed there April 2006, could not of asked for a more friendly welcome, the food and accommodation were 1st class. As for the course? It had rained for a week when we arrived, but the course was still playable and very very enjoyable, it was that good we have booked to go back in August so we can play the course when its at its best (hopefully), you can not get better value for money than the packages they provide, well recommended.

i have been and stayed at lagganmore and have found this great value you for money.steve and all the staff make you very welcome and the meals that are provided are top quality.the rooms are excellent and it has major amount of character for such a young golf course.
the 1st hole looks simple but try and keep straight as it runs away to the right. 2nd nice and easy 3rd easy straight blind 4th dog leg right with stunning views from the tee.5th we renamed it gary's gulch as my mate lost 5 balls on gorse on right 6th easy 7th i think possibly the hardest to master with its double blind and postage stamp green with water just in front 8th easy the 9th really nice hole to play before the long 10th.11th straight forward 12th has banks on both sides so you need to hit straight and with a not so easy sloping green which is now getting changed to a 2 tier green 13,14,15,16 all reasonably straight forward before you come to 17th named BIG HELL a great hole to play you just have to see it surrounded by gorse on left and right you drive off trying to hit the downward slope that could leave you 8-9 iron on to the green if not lay up short and hit a 7 iron really love this hole. 18th easy.Well thats it from the alien game lot give it ago you wont be disappointed.

I have played this course for each of the past four or five years, and it has improved each time. From a start of very difficult and overbearing rough, it has a fairly good mix now. The greens are not the best, but the venue does do some excellent "stay and play" packages. Personally, I really like the Par 5 7th, which needs a long drive, a blind second shot, and then a third over a deep water filled ditch onto a small green, and the 17th which has you playing two blind shots downhill to the green (OK 1 blind shot if you can hit 50 yards further than me!!)
