Played here early October with afairly large group.
As has been said before this not a course you should attempt without a buggy. There are some fantastic elevated tee positions with wonderful views over the hillside down to the sea.
Not the best course on the Island that I have played (that goes to Andratx) but well worth a visit.

Totally agree with comments below - only course I have ever played where a buggy is totally necessary. Reckon I'd still be out there now without one.
Course at times felt slightly contrived due to being on the side of a hill and in a tight space (one par 4 reduced to par 3 to stop slicers hitting a hotel) but enjoyable all the same.
Bit disappointed with condition of the greens but otherwise course was in nice condition. Not the best in Palma area (Son Vida and Son Termens much better) but worth a visit.

Played here in September and found it to be a potential master course which should be played by all. Let down by the amount of players who hacked around and had no idea of golfing etiquette. Had early tee time and pro shop not open. Could not buy balls elsewhere. With the royal'monicker'expected better with tighter control of play and marshalls. Buggy is a must having regard to the terrain. Some great holes wich will not be forgotten in a hurry. 5 hour round!!

Beautiful course in good condition (May 2005)
Looking at the comments on this site we all (12) decided to get buggies - and boy were we glad even though they were resticted to cart paths only (a particular bugbear of mine)
1st drive not as daunting as it looks from the tee but care is needed off the tee. Straight is a definite advantage !!
Not to be missed if you are in the area.

Played the course twice in April 2004. It's very wooded and pretty with lots of wildlife around, as well as lots of friendly domestic fowl! Very hilly-you definitely need a buggy-and with lovely views down the valley towards the Bay of Palma. Greens & fairways were in good condition. You must hit straight or you'll lose plenty of balls. I'd advise using an iron off the tee more often than usual, as it's not that long. Staff were welcoming and helpful We teamed up with a variety of nationalities, Swiss, Austrian and Spanish, so it wasn't just full of Brits as Spanish courses often tend to be. Locals tell me that if you play in the summer, you might come across King Juan Carlos and his security entourage !
