Los Naranjos Golf Club Player Reports

Played here on a very warm August Sunday afternoon with a local society.
The course and facilities are superb, the clubhouse is worth a visit for lunch in its own right.
Long at a litte over 6,500m with some very picturesque holes, the par 5 eighteenth is a lovely hole with water in front of the green which is overlooked by the clubhouse.
We paid 65 euros including a buggy and at this rate it is well worth a visit if you are in the area.

The comments do not do the course justice. Things have moved on since most were written. Course is in fine condition and provides a fair challenge punishing the bad shot and rewarding the good. Facilities are good well worth a visit.

I played the course August 99 and July 2000. Front nine greens were completely overhauled early 99, back nine was a little rough that year, but first class second time around. Front nine is spread out between several small hills and is a little undulating. The back nine is flat on a former orange grove (hence the name) but still testing with water on several holes. Course was reasonably quiet during my visits, but I have just tried booking four months off for March 01 and found it completely booked - take note if you plan to come winter months!

I played this course in 1997 and it was in AWFUL condition. The front nine was just in dreadful state and the back nine was very wet. Front nine is the better layout with some very good holes. The back nine is dull by comparison.
