An absolutely stunning course, right up there as an all time favourite. Stepping on to the tee on most holes, the fairway drops away before sweeping up towards an elevated green. This gives you great views of the surrounding countryside and an excellent view of the challenge that awaits you.
The fairways are relatively open, and the course is pretty long, but this isn't the challenge. The greens are almost impossible to hit if you haven't positioned your drive carefully. Greens are nearly all elevated, narrow and ringed with bunkers. The 8th is a beautiful par 3 over a lake (the pin positioned about 6 feet from the water's edge when we were there), and several more lakes come in to play on the back nine.
The course was in fantastic condition throughout. Greens were lightning quick, but so smooth that you felt anything under 6 feet was a gimme. The modern clubhouse has every luxury you need, and it was great to sit on the terrace after our round and watch people struggle on the 18th - only 350 yards from the back tee, but I didn't see a single person find the green with their second shot... me included. Sums up the course perfectly!

I have played this course on 5 occasions, at different times of the year, and in my oppinion it is the best course in Europe! I will be back there at the end of September with a society, and cant wait! This is a must for any golfer in the area.

I stayed at this course for a week in January. It is a fantastic course and it was in fine condition. Every hole is well designed. The greens were lush but still fast and true. There is nothing overly difficult about the course but you need to be on top of your game to score well. Water comes into play on four holes. Highly recommended. Don't miss the excellent lunchtime meals at the clubhouse.
