Quite a long open course, although water does come into play on a number of holes. Tees, fairways and greens all in A1 condition. Quite a few areas adjacent the massive fairways were bare though. New grass shoots had been planted, and should cover in a few weeks. Very wide fairways allow you to go with the driver on most par 4's and 5's. Excellent hospitality from course staff. Handicap certificate requested by caddie master.

Have played La Finca four years running and is my favourite course that we play. Its great lay out and challenging holes are just a taster of this classy course. There is alot of water to contend with during your round, the famous 17th is my pick where you either can play the hole sensibly or try to drive the green in one. One problem though its a 240yrd carry over the water to the green. Construction work still to this day echoes around you but once that is all complete it will look amaizing. Buggies i would recommend to the older generation as its quite a long course and plenty of walking between tee's.

As with many courses in the region, it is within the confines of a massive holiday homes development and you will come across construction during your round, which can spoil it a bit. The course itself is beautifully laid out. The first is a downhill par 5 with a very wide fairway to get you going (although the drive is disconcertingly close to the bar terrace), but finishes in a devillish green. Water appears frequently thoughout the course and is to be avoided in order to put together a good score. The par five 5th has an island green surrounded by water, while the par 3 6th has water all down the left. Push it right into the bunker or the mounds and you have a tricky chip back towards the water. The downhill par 5 11th gives you the chance to really rip a monster drive, setting up a chance to go for the green in two. The greens were in really good nick. Quite pricy, but it is the pick of the area in terms of a resort golf course. The only complaints woudl be the price of lunch and that the driving range was a bit far away from the clubhouse / 1st tee. They also insisted upon seeing our handicap certificates, which was unusual.
